Meshtastic Settings for New Zealand

These are the default settings for New Zealand however some regions have variations to these to support a larger number of active nodes.

Important: When buying hardware such as devices and antennas ensure they are suitable for the 915MHz frequency band (includes the frequencies from 902-928Mhz).

Region: Australia/New Zealand (ANZ)
Preset: Long Fast
Frequency slot: 20 (or zero which uses the default)
Device role: CLIENT or CLIENT_MUTE (unless you know what you're doing)
Hop count: 3 (higher values can cause overloading)

Auckland, Waikato and Wellington

For Auckland, Waikato and Wellington users please use Short Fast 16 (SF16):

Preset: Short Fast
Frequency slot: 16 (or zero which uses the default)
